John Muir's apt description of the Sierra Nevada as The Range of Light seemed especially apropos for this view of its grandest escarpment.  There is sufficient detail to make a gigantic print — an increasingly common trait in my work, going far beyond the old goal of matching the 8x10 B&W work of the mid-20th century and while reveling in the color of our world.
