There have been several occasions where a road or a bridge provided the perspective necessary for one of my photographs. Few people would realize that I would have needed to be fourteen feet tall and/or hip-deep in mud to obtain this perspective without the benefit of the road (which had been rudely, but conveniently built across the end of the pond).
